1. The programme
DPI Slowdown ("we", "us") runs this affiliate programme through Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy tracks the sales you refer and pays your commission, so its own affiliate terms apply to you as well. These terms cover how you may advertise DPI Slowdown and what happens if you break the rules.
2. Joining
You apply through Lemon Squeezy. We review every application and may accept or refuse it. Being an affiliate does not make you our employee, agent or partner, and you may not speak or sign for us.
We ask every affiliate to have a paid DPI Slowdown subscription of their own, and to keep it active for as long as they are in the programme. You do not need one to apply. If you are accepted without one, you must start your subscription straight after being accepted, within the time limits in section 6; we send you a discount code for your first payment. If you are already a subscriber, apply with the email address of your subscription so that we can confirm it. Your own subscription does not earn you commission.
3. Commission
You earn the commission shown in your Lemon Squeezy affiliate hub on sales made through your personal link. Lemon Squeezy pays it on its own schedule and under its own conditions.
- No commission is earned on sales that are refunded, charged back or fraudulent.
- You may not refer yourself, or buy through your own link.
- We may change the commission for future sales. We will tell you before we do.
4. How you must advertise
- Describe DPI Slowdown truthfully: a Windows program that lowers mouse sensitivity while the pointer is near a colour the user chooses.
- Present it for its permitted uses only: single-player and offline games, accessibility, and precise work in desktop programs.
- Say clearly, wherever you share your link, that you earn a commission. Follow the advertising rules of your country and of the platform you post on.
- Use our name, logo, pictures and texts only as we provide them, without changing them.
- Keep what you say up to date. If we change the price, the free trial or the supported mice, correct your content.
5. What you must never do
- Call DPI Slowdown a hack, cheat, aimbot or aim assist for online games, or suggest that it is one.
- Claim that it is undetectable, safe from bans, or able to get around anti-cheat software.
- Advertise it for use in online multiplayer or competitive games, ranked play, tournaments, or on leaderboards, including those of aim trainers such as KovaaK's and Aim Lab.
- Show it being used in online matches in videos, streams or pictures.
- Promote it on cheat forums, cheat marketplaces, or in communities built around cheating.
- Make claims that are false or that you cannot support, including promised results, invented reviews, or any suggestion that a game publisher, an aim trainer or a mouse maker approves of it.
- Send spam or unwanted messages.
- Pretend to be us: no look-alike websites or domain names, and no paid search adverts on the name "DPI Slowdown".
- Create clicks or sales artificially, for example with hidden links, paid clicks or cookie tricks.
- Break the law, or the rules of the platform you post on.
6. If you break these terms
We may remove you from the programme at any time. For a breach of section 5 we remove you immediately and without warning.
If you have no active subscription of your own about 2 days after being accepted, we send a reminder to your email address. The reminder may be sent later than that. If your subscription is still not active 5 days after the reminder was sent, we remove you from the programme. This gives you about 7 days from being accepted. If your subscription stops being active at any later time, we send the same reminder, and remove you if it is still not active 5 days after that reminder. When you are removed:
- your affiliate link stops earning commission;
- commission that has not yet been paid out to you is no longer owed and stays with us, and sales connected to a breach are rejected;
- you must take down the content that broke these terms as soon as we ask;
- we may report the breach to Lemon Squeezy and refuse future applications from you.
You are responsible for your own content. If it causes a claim against us, you will cover the cost of that claim as far as the law allows.
7. Leaving
You can leave the programme at any time by telling us. Commission already earned on valid sales is still paid by Lemon Squeezy under its conditions.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep promoting DPI Slowdown after a change, you accept the new terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway.
